This is so much better than the cover that came with my Kindle 1. I no longer worry about my Kindle falling out onto the floor as happened before. My stock cover also had the irritating habit of occasionally pulling off the back cover of the Kindle when handled in certain ways. That is no longer an issue. The SD card and pen holders are really useful features. My only (small) issue is that since the case holds the Kindle in place so tightly, which of course is a good thing, it can be difficult to access the power and wireless switches. Since the arrival of the Kindle 2 the price of this Kindle 1 cover has dropped dramatically thus making it even more worth a look.
