after looking and reading reviews on other protective cases (like plastic clear ones), I finally decided on this the Macally Shell. It is easy to put on, protects your macbook from scratches, gives you more grip ( for times you have to hold on to it with one hand), and it gives it a VERY professional look ( the leather gives it that effect). There are cutouts for the ports, cd/dvd slot, and for ventilation. A MUST BUY FOR ANY MB OWNER.
