I go very often to Yosemite during winter.. setting up your tripod in the snow is not very fun. And when you think its stable it sinks!... The All Weather Shoes are huge!.. in a good way.. I haven't had the chance to test them in the snow, but I tested them in the sand and they work wonders! tripod is as stable as the Statue of Liberty.. If you shoot in the snow or sand, or any loose terrain, these bad boys are for you. Well worth the money.
