This is a great head for your tripod or monopod with a few improvements that could be made. There is no easy way to get this back to center or even level. Use your eyes and it made my monopod more than twice as heavy as without it. I wish they made a lighter version as it seemed pointless to buy a lightweight monopod with this thing attached.
It is very easy to attach and detach your camera from this which is another great feature.

Bogen has always made quality products over the years and with the many I have bought and used. In this case this ball head rapid connect works exactly as it should and I have used it atop my Gorilla SLR pod as well as on other SLIK, and Bogen mono and tripods. Very well made and fast release when needed and always a smart option to have in quick changing environments.
