While the price on these batteries cannot be beat, I wonder how old the batteries are. I bought them to use in my RC transmitter and only three out of the 5 battery power lights, light up, normally new batteries would light all 5 power lights on the transmitter.Digital camera Review: Inexpensive and decent value

These are definitely not high capacity. Four of them in my 7yr old's HP Photosmart last about 20 flashes. But they are great for the kids' toys, remotes etc. Digital camera Review: Great Deal on Alkaline Batteries

I bought a 20-pack of these batteries a month ago to include in my family's emergency kit. We don't use a lot of disposable batteries, but have several battery-operated devices (radio, flashlights, etc) in our kit that do require batteries. It was important that I buy alkaline rather than heavy-duty batteries because it may be a while until we actually use them and alkalines have a much longer shelf-life than heavy-duty. The pack that I bought in October has a reported shelf-life until August, 2011.
So, this is a great deal on a large quantity of quality batteries. Free shipping only makes it better.
