Digital camera reviews of Maxell CD-AUTO Automobile CD Lens CleanerDigital camera Review: No working at all Summary: 2 Stars
Well, before I bought this disc, I noticed some one star comments. Unfortunately, it happened to me as well. There's no different before and after using this cleaning disc. I can play a few discs, but the auto cd-player can not read this disc. It's a sad experience.
Digital camera Review: Product worked Summary: 4 Stars
Was unable to find this product at Wallmart. Reasonable price and my CD player worked after using the product. I would recommed it if your CDs are skipping.
Digital camera Review: Sucks Summary: 1 Stars
This product did not help clean my cd stereo at all. I used it about 7 times and in between those times tried putting in my brand new cd and it would still skip repeatedly. I'd advise splurging and getting a more adequate cleaning system or a new stereo instead of being disappointed by this worthless product.
Digital camera Review: The Best.... Summary: 5 Stars
This is an absolutely wonderful product. The CD Player in my Cadillac was skipping tracks and was a mess. One use of this cleaner (specially for cars) and my player was good as new!
Digital camera Review: Unit will NOT function in all auto CD players (Err's/ejects) Summary: 2 Stars
I have both a '97 Chevrolet(GM) pickup and a '98 Jeep(Chrysler Corp.) and specifically purchased the unit to clean the laser lens in the Jeep. IT WILL NOT OPERATE IN THE CHRYSLER CORPORATION CD PLAYER as it immediately displays an "ERROR" message and ejects the MAXELL lens cleaner disk.
It DOES function in the GM player, however. I have noticed that the Chrysler CD player is 'finiky' about playing some CD disks that always play on the GM unit. It is obvious that my GM unit is superior to my Chrysler unit, but the fact remains... THE MAXELL DISK WILL NOT FUNCTION in my '98 Jeep's CD player!
