Absolutely fantastic, my recorder stopped formatting my DVD-Ram disks. I had used the recorder approximately 1 yr, After using Maxell's DVD cleaner disk, all is back to normal. Fixed the problem. Recorder did not recognize its own recordings and I could not finalize the disks. Could not read the disks; invalid disk error message. I started having these problems after recording about 100 DVDs. After running the cleaning cycle everything returned back to normal. Speaker test was also helpful; polarity was reversed in one of the speakers.Digital camera Review: Works with DVD Recorders, too!

I was about to retire an old standalone DVD recorder, because it would no longer let me create menus or finalize discs. I bought this lens cleaner and -- voila! -- the recorder is working again. Super easy to use (it's simply a DVD that you insert into your machine, and the menus tell you what to do). Highly recommended.Digital camera Review: Worth a try, but don't get your hopes up

I have two DVD players, one with moderate use, the other with very light use. Both ended up skipping and locking up - the typical dust problem. Neither was helped by this product - the same experience I have had with other "cleaners." Save the money, just buy a new player. The cost of one of these things is 1/3 of the way there for the low-end DVD player these days.
