Digital camera reviews of Maxell VP-100 VHS Dry Tape Video Head CleanerDigital camera Review: Too Early For a Review, Amazon Summary: 3 Stars
I'm writing this review at the urging of Amazon.Com, but it's really a bit early. I bought a couple of Maxell VP100 Dry Video Head Cleaners because I planned to copy a lot of old VHS tapes to DVD on my new VCR/DVD recorder. I've successfully used it about five times total on three VCRs. In the last attempts, when I inserted the cartridge, it immediately started rewinding, and I had to stop it and hit play. It doesn't always play. This has happened on two VCRs. So...the jury's still out on this product. I think I'm supposed to get about 100 uses. I'll come back and edit my review if I have any new information.

Service was fine, unfortunately the VCR Cleaner does not clean well at all.
I've tried on two different VCRs. Ran the entire tape through three times.
Digital camera Review: VCR's work again! Summary: 5 Stars
Works great on newer a VCR that was getting out of sorts, but also brought an old dead one (nothing but static before) back to life! For those of us still partly in the dark ages of VCR's, this is a must have.
And as usual, Amazon was the best price around and very fast delivery.

I haven't used this product as of yet, but will do so in the near future. I received it in a new condition and undamaged.

It is just like my old one, when it was working. It helped my VCR run much better after I used it. The picture is perfect again!
