I bought this battery because Amazon recommended it for the Canon ST780 camera that I also bought. However, the battery would NOT charge in the Canon charger. So far this battery works great and seems to hold the same amount of charge than the original battery that came with my Canon PowerShot SD780 IS. I have only had it a couple of weeks so I can't talk to how many charges (aka how long it will work) it will take. I also do not have the time to do a side by side comparison against Canon's battery but it does work well and so far is a good backup battery. Giving it 5 stars because nothing bad since I have had it.Digital camera Review: Great battery for a great camera.
