Medialink's Category 5 enhanced (Cat5e) Ethernet cord is designed for todays advanced high-speed Ethernet and gigabit computer networks and meets all Cat5e TIA/EIA standards and exceeds the performance requirements of Category 5e, as todays fastest Ethernet computer networks require Category 5e Enhanced 350 Mhz cables to distribute data, voice, and video. These cables will distribute voice, video, and data and handle other bandwidth intensive applications for up to 350Mhz. It is designed for and can be used to connect computers, network adapters, hubs, switches, routers, DSL/cable modems, patch panels, other twisted-pair applications and devices with Network Jacks. In other words, this cable can be used to connect all of the hardware destinations on a Local Area Network (LAN). Mediabridges RJ45 Cat5e cord is perfect for use with 10/100 Base-T networks. Mediabridge uses 50-micron gold plated RJ-45 Male to Male connectors as well as 4-pair 24AWG Stranded Copper to ensure the purest, cleanest, and clearest transmission possible. Premium snagless molding connectors are also used to protect the connection and prevent unwanted cable snags.
