Digital camera Review: 9 CAT5 CABLES FOR ~$25 - SHIPPED.
Summary: 5 Stars
No self-respecting geek should be without some spare network cables. However, when I found myself in need of a few Ethernet cables I looked in places like Radio Shack to see what I could find. Basically "The Shack" wanted to charge something like $20 for a single 12 foot or so cord. It seemed to me like you ought to be able to pick up a bag of 5 or 6 medium length cables for that amount. These things have become fairly basic and universal, like power cords, but retailers still charge premium prices for them. One alternative is to get a 1000ft roll and crimp your own cables to suit. I haven't done this yet but it remains an option. Instead I visited Amazon and found I could get 9 of these 15 ft. cables (@ $2.99 ea.) for 26.91, shipped. They arrived in a few days and since then I've had the opportunity to try a few and they all worked fine. So, all I can say is, I would recommend this vendor and this product.
