These work perfectly in my TV's component DVD recorder and also my computer's DVD player/recorder. I have had absolutely no faulty discs. There is nothing wrong with these, and I use a lot of DVDs. I do make sure that I don't get dirt and/or fingerprints on my media, also. I don't know if that helps, but I try to take good care of my recorder and media by keeping dust and dirt away from them. It definitely is not for LG DVD writers. I have an external firewire model and more than half of these have gone corrupt some time after actually being written to succesfully ! So far, the first six out of the spindle do not work. After hours of thinking that my DVD burner on my Imac was messed up, I tried another brand and no problem. These things are junk. Maybe they will work on a PC, but don't buy them for a MAC.Digital camera Review: EXCELLENT PRODUCT

I have used memorex for several month and it is an excellent productin fact all disk work just fine so far it is possible that one or two disk have failed to work properly but this isnt a problem and over a 2 year period? no complaint.Digital camera Review: Everything works fine

I've used about 10 of these discs so far for recording on my DVD-R as well as burning stuff on my laptop and so far all the discs have performed flawlessly. No problem recording or burning as well as viewing it afterwards. Based on my own experience with these discs I see no problem with recommending them.
(Update) I've used nearly all of the discs and have had no problems recording, erasing, or playback. No problems here.
