Digital camera Review: Reliable Brand for CD's. Great for Backing up music.

The primary purpose of these discs I bought were to serve as backup and if my original CD's get ruined, I'll still have a copy. This was apparently a smart decision I made, since one of my CD's just recently got scratched and skips and gets stuck at the middle of a few songs. It's a good thing that I still have another copy.
As for the quality of the CD's, if I had to describe it in one word, it would be reliable. I burned 50 CD's, I get 50 working CD's. This is extremely important because what if some failed, and you never realized that until your original copy died and when you pop in the replacement CD, only to find a nasty surprise waiting for you: the disc not working. That means that you'll have to pay another $10 for another copy of the CD. That has actually happened to me with a few of the Verbatim ones. At first, I though it was a great buy, with 100 of them at only $22. But when I tried to burn them, half of them didn't work. The success rate did get higher when I lowered the burning speed, but that was never an issue with these Memorex discs. Besides, I prefer the design on the Memorex discs anyways...
If I ever decided to buy more CD discs, Memorex is my choice. My only regret is that I bought the 50-pack instead of the 100-packs... The Verbatim incident forced me to be more cautious. I'm definitely buying the 100-packs next time around.
