These discs are unreliable and not worth wasting time with. Burning with Nero 6.x on a Sony DVD burner on a Win2000Pro PC resulted in failure to verify the burn on the first sectors 100% of the tries. Burning on a new Plextor burner attached to a Macbook with Toast 7 results in failures during burn or verify about 40% of the time and discs that verify still won't play properly, with video pauses and skips.Digital camera Review: Utter Crap, Wouldn't Spend $1 For Memorex DVD+R DL

Memorex DVD+ DLs are an absolute waste of money and time. I have tried to burn 10 DVDs from my 25 pack. Not a single one will burn onto the 2nd layer. I thought, "Hey, maybe I bought the wrong type of DVD disks or I need to update my firmware". Nope. I checked my computer user's manual, and DVD+R DL are compatible with my DVD burner. I checked to see if my DVD drive needed to be updated with newer firmware. I have the most recent firmware.
I have successfully burned other brands of dual layer DVDs on this computer. These disks are the problem; they are utter crap. I truly wouldn't spend one dollar on another 25 pack. That dollar is better spent on better quality discs.
Beware. I didn't save any money buying Memorex. I WASTED money on Memorex. But I won't make that mistake again.

There is not much more I can say about this product that everyone else has said already. You might have better luck sticking your actual money in your drive to burn your data than what you will with these memorex discs.
I have a pile of over 70 messed-upped failed unsuccessful memorex discs here. I always thought I was to blame, or my software, or my dvd burner, until I finally wised up and tried some other brands. I have wasted so much cash on memorex....never ever again.

I bought these on another site and while I saw a few reviews saying they didn't work, I dismissed those reviews as being the standard people who don't know how to use the product or just like to complain. Well, I was wrong. These things are completely worthless. Like everyone else, I tried to burn half a dozen and everyone failed while starting the second layer.
Do not waste your money on these. Even if you have purchased these in the past and they worked, I'd stay away. According to some people on the other site, Memorex switched their DVD supplier last year from a high quality disc to this junk.

I bought two spindles of 25pk Memorex DVD double layer disks and the first six disks failed at half-way of burning. I had used the last five disks of the same brand of my previous order (more than a year ago) successfully. That excludes the possibility of hardware software compatibility. I am returning them to the seller.
I think it is waste of time and money even though these disks have lower price.
