The instructions say to put it in your player and press play. When I put it in my player, the player spins and spins for a while and then says the disc is not readable. Maybe just by spinning it did some cleaning (I can't tell), but whatever other functionality it is supposed to have, it doesn't have.Digital camera Review: Doesn't work on all DVD players

Unfortunetly, the reason I got this was for the DVD player in my computer, home theater, and xbox. I really couldn't find anything on what this disc would be compatible with but for $5, it isn't a big deal. Seems to work just fine for my cd player in my computer and home theater though. So as far as a cleaner for your cd player, this product seems to work just fine and is at a reasonable price. Takes about 3 minutes or so to clean the lens and then you can choose whether or not you wish to calibrate your home theater's speakers or not. Seems I have something in common with the July 20th review.
