The Memorex DVD+R 16x discs are great. I have a LaCie external 16x burner that I use with my mac and I have not yet burned a bad disc. I use these to burn DVD movies (uhh...legally, of course) regardless, out of the 100 that i burned, every single 1 of them is having some issue or another being played back. has nothing to do with burning method (tried burning using different media, and it worked perfectly), nor does it have to do with the drives its being played in (i have tried 6 different dvd players that i have.
This media is garbage. you get what you pay for. my next batch is going to be verbatim. im staying away from memorex from now on.

This product has horrendous fail rate. I've only gone through about 30 out of the 100 dvdrs and I'm getting nearly 40% fail rate. That's a horrible product. It's like you're actually only buying half of the 100 stack. Will never buy this again! I'M USING A LITE-ON DVD BURNER SINCE A LOT OF MONTHS AGO AND HAVEN'T HAD NO TROUBLE W/+R 16X DVDs FROM OTHER FACTORIES UNTIL NOW. I SUGGEST TO BUY MEMOREX @ 8X, THOSE ARE MORE STABLE AND YOU JUST SPEND A COUPLE (2 OR 3) MINUTES MORE WHEN BURNING YOUR DATA ON THEM... HOWEVER THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT MEMOREX ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH. ACTUALLY, THESE DISCS WORKS AT 8X QUITE NORMALLY, BESIDES, IF YOUR DVD BURNER IS FROM A FURTHER FACTORY IT MAY BE POSSIBLE TO BURN AT 16X INDEED... SO, NO HESITATION IS NEEDED IF THERE'S A SOLUTION SECURED IN EVERY ANGLE.... THEY WORKS AND THAT'S IT!!!
