I have a Samsung DVD burner and a DL NEC. I can honestly count on one hand the amount of times I've made a coaster with either drive and at those times I'm sure it was my fault for trying to tweak my performance. Make sure you keep the firmware for your burner up to date and the software your using to make the DVD's with. I edit the firmware that NEC and Samsung release to the public to serve my need....such as region coding etc. I wouldn't recommend this for the lamen nor should you have to if your just expecting normal performance. I've yet to copy anything but movies at this point and this could be why I'm having excellent luck. At this point I've been switching between Memorex and Ridata, depending on which ever one has the better price. I see some of the reviewers have had issue with this product, not in my case.
At the time of this review the cost for this spindle of x16 +r is a great value.

Ive been using these blank dvd's for some time now. I started with cheaper brands but always had problems with them completing the burn, but since ive started using memorex i have had no problems, i have found out that searching sales locally can be a better price then online.Digital camera Review: Get your hammer or microwave ready...

Previously to this batch, Memorex has been the most reliable disks for my machine so I bought 200 of these. So far, only one works out of about 5 that I have tossed (or broken with a hammer, I'm so peeved). I'm waiting for the 6th in row to go belly up right....about...now! Yup. I have too many coasters as it is...The 7th worked...Digital camera Review: Good DVD+R's at a reasonable price.

I am happy with this purchase. So far the dics are all working well and in good condition. I did not have them come loose in the box in shipping as I saw some other reviews claim.
