The picture quality is very good. I really do not use the on board microphone as I have a high quality microphone already. I just use this for the Skype and Yahoo Messenger calls and I am pretty happy with the video quality.Digital camera Review: Good product

I sent a camera to each of my 3 kids so we could communicate while we are on vacation.
To date only one of my computer savy kids have been able to get it working. They have had to download programs from Microsoft and use their trouble shooting FAQ's extensively.
If you easily get frustrated with software installations DON'T get this product.

the image of this camera is above average tho it can't catch pics well when the object is shaking, but who cares. and the price is good at this range of money. if you're easy going, looking for something to replace your last decent camera, this one will be a good deal
