Digital camera Review: A Decent Optical Mouse at a Bargain Price
Summary: 5 Stars

You can pay more for other corded optical mice, but this one is hard to beat. This is the second of these mice that I have purchased...my original one has worked faultlessly on my Windows 2000 PC for over a couple of years, and the second one is now on a Windows XP PC with equal results. I would not hesitate to recommend this product.

Digital camera Review: A good solid no frills mouse
Summary: 4 Stars

I like this mouse. It replaced my factory Dell mouse that kept screwing up. It feels pretty nice, the buttons have a nice feel to them and the scroll wheel has a got a nice movement to it. It also has an attractive appearance. Most importantly, the mouse moves the pointer where I want it to go without any hassle. Probably not the absolute best mouse out there, but if you just want a good solid reliable mouse for a reasonable price and that's a little nicer looking than appliance white I'd get this one.

Digital camera Review: A good, not great, mouse for under $20.
Summary: 4 Stars

I've used Microsoft mice since before optical mice. Their shape has always fit my hand well and they last usually a couple to three years. I do a lot of mouse pounding so that's not bad, at least to me. The shape of the Optical Mouse - Blue is a bit different than my old Wheel-Mouse Optical (I'd had two of those) and it's taking a bit of getting used to but it's fairly comfortable, moves nice though it feels a little light. Tracking seems clean with no odd popping to other parts of the screen. One thing I've always appreciated with the MS family of mice is it has a nice long cord. I've got a deep (32"!) and tall desk and the cord reaches with plenty to spare.

To address something I saw in another review: The mouse has two lights. One is on the entire time your system is powered up. This light is decorative and low intensity. The other light is the scanning light for the pointer system and being a much higher intensity bulb would burn out if it were left on all the time.

In conclusion, it's a MS mouse. It'll last you a few years depending on how hard you are on your hardware. For under $20 you really can't go wrong here.

Digital camera Review: After using it for 2 years.
Summary: 4 Stars

It was nice mice I used.

I like the normal shape that microsoft has.

After using 2years, the right button broke.
It started to click weird, and finally broke.
But I guess that's my fault, clicing so much and so hard?

Overall it was good mice.

Digital camera Review: Begins well... but later on... ehhh...
Summary: 2 Stars

Well, here's the thing. I liked this mouse when I first got it. After all, its optical, it feels nice on my hand, and controls well.

But later on down the road...

The track ball has gotten stuck. Don't know how, don't know why, but when scrolling, it gets to a point and STICKS. This is extremely frustrating when playing online video games where speed is essential.

This, in itself, wouldn't be much of a problem if there was a way to open it and clean it. But... there's none. No screws, nothing that pops off... its just one solid unit.

So, if you're looking for a temporary mouse, then this might be for you. But if you want one that will last more than 3 months... look elsewhere.
