Digital camera Review: Comfortable Mouse

This Microsoft mouse has an excellent feel and is very easy to use. I love
it and it's the only mouse I'll be using, unless they stop making it then
I'll have to find another. Clicking and scrolling are very responsive. I
turned on sounds to start navigation and provide audible feedback making
sure I actually clicked by depressing the left or right buttons hearing a
'click' tone from my Creative T10 speakers.
This mouse has large 'feet' on its bottom that enable it to glide easily
on the mousepad as the optical sensor registers movement and places the
cursor around the screen. I recommend using a USB-PS2 adapter to free up
a USB port on your PC with this mouse. I installed the Intellipoint disk
first and installed the mouse. Large number of cursor options with this.
Buy this mouse, your hands will love it, and it's worth the price. I use
it with XP and ME computers. Might even try it on a WIN98 machine when my
old Microsoft heavy trackball finally dies. It's the closest thing to it.

I purchased this new mouse to replace original mouse with my Gateway system.
This mouse has all most anyone would want, unless you need a cordless model.
It has operated flawlessly and is very smooth, as no ball is under this mouse.
I don't know the life expectancy of this model, but whatever it is, I would consider buying another at the price I paid.

I ordered this mouse from Amazon for home, and the mouse rocked while clicking. The plastic appeared warped on the bottom - it was visible when you were looking for it. I sent it back to Amazon and ordered another. Exact same problem.
I've been using the same mouse at work for a few years and its bottom is perfectly flat. And I've been using Microsoft mouses for 10+ years. I absolutely love them - they are very comfortable for long periods of use. But now I'm concerned they're having manufacturing problems and am looking at other brands.
