I purchased this optical mouse and have been extremely, extremely pleased with it. I love how it performs, and I also like it's appearance as well. It is very comfortable to use, and I have not had one problem with it yet. I believe that it is an terrific optical mouse, especially for how much it costs--it is quite a good value. I have always loved this mouse. I like it even better than the high end mice that have briefly captured my attention. It's cheap, it always works, and it's just as comfortable as the expensive mice (mouses?). I use it on my macbook pro. No problems installing or using.
The only thing that might pull me away from this mouse is mac's multi-touch track pad. If they make a large external version of that I'll give up mice for good. (but I'll miss this great Microsoft product for sentimental reasons)

This is great but makes sure you adjust it by going into its properties on your control panel.
I can use this on my leg or my wrinkly sheet and it's spot on. Also, the red light will stay on as long as the computer is on and gets brighter if you use the mouse. Easy to find in the dark.
Also, the mouse's scroll button is completely silent.
Very good price for a real and functional mouse.

I don't think you can review this product without taking in to account the cost. Penny for penny, Microsoft still makes the best mouse. You can spend more and maybe get a little better but you can never spend less and get anywhere near the design and quality of these little critters.
