Digital camera reviews of Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 - Slate [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]Digital camera Review: Excellent Mouse - Great Battery Life Summary: 5 Stars
I use this every day and have replaced the battery once in the last four months. It was simple to setup and I haven't had any sync issues. No complaints.
Digital camera Review: Excellent choice! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this item as a recommendation from a friend - she has had hers for years and it continues to be a very dependable accessory for her. When I received it, I plugged it in and started using it - no hassles of installation. I think it is wonderful! It only requires one "AA" battery that is 'disabled' when the USB adapter is placed in the crevice on the bottom of the mouse. It conveniently travels in the laptop case as one piece - it is wonderful!
Digital camera Review: Fantastic! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this mouse for my laptop so i didnt have to deal with the stupid touch pad, i wasnt expecting much for under $20, just something that i could use, nothing fancy or of real quality, but wow this blew away all of my expectations. I have seen some of my friends wireless mice, they are either ungodly large and bulky, or so small and fragile that they are barely usable, not to mention drivers for said mice can really be a pain in the ass. But not with this mouse! I cut it out of its plastic encasing (its that plastic thats always a pain in the ass to open, you know the stuff im talking about, takes a minute to cut it open with scissors, then a few more minutes to cut off enough packaging to get it out and making sure you didnt slice up the manual, or your finger) and was quite surprised with it, it has a nice size to it, compact, but not so small that i felt like i would lose it. I didnt bother looking at the manual, popped it open, inserted the included AA battery (its in there, at the bottom of the packaging), and plugged it into my laptop, within a minute the drivers had installed and it was ready to go! I was displeased at first, the sensitivity was insane, and it seemed like every nudge i made sent it flying across the screen. I however eventually grew to like the high sensitivity, it meant i had to move less and as we all know, space is limited on a mouse pad, and over time it started to feel good and i liked how responsive it was. The external quality was above my expectations as well. The two side panels are rubberized and quite comfortable, as is the scroll wheel. On the bottom of the mouse is the on/off "switch", when you pull out the USB connector, the mouse turns on, put it back and the mouse turns off. This also provides a very convenient place to store the USB connector. For the price this mouse is perfect, very smooth across mouse pads (one is needed) and it works perfectly, not much more you can ask for.
Digital camera Review: Get what you pay for... almost Summary: 1 Stars
Lasted almost a week... USB connection failure, you can spend a few extra bucks or throw the dice with this MS reject. Maybe you will have better luck than I did. Microsoft brand name continues to loose value with me.
Digital camera Review: Good basic travel mouse. Summary: 4 Stars
This is a pretty basic mouse. It works well, and fits my smallish hand quite well. I like that the usb receiver stores in the bottom of the mouse when not in use, prolonging battery life. The receiver is about the size of a flash drive, and I have had no problems using with my laptop. I like the frustration-free packaging as well, but it would be nice if it were the same price as regular pricing.
