Digital camera reviews of Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 4.0 MassDigital camera Review: Great wireless mouse at a steal of a price Summary: 4 Stars
As a person who spends 90% of the day in front of a computer screen, I need a mouse that is comfortable and durable. I bought this at a special price (14.99 each), and I have found it to be a great tool. This mouse fits comfortably in your hand (unlike the smaller standard mouse that comes with most computers- including iMac). I bought one for home and one for work. The only complaint I have is when at work, I often get a low signal message (because I am a bit to far away from the access point). The connection/signal never fails, but the message is annoying. I have dropped it several times, and it has not failed. I have had the same batteries in it since I purchased it- approximately 4 months ago. I would urge any and all to give this one a try (even at regular price) if they do not like their current mouse.
Additional information as of 1/26/2010: I continue to be impressed with this mouse. It uses ridiculously low amounts of energy, thus saving the number of batteries you go through. I use rechargeable batteries, and honestly, I go about 4-5 months before needing to recharge. Both mice that I purchased (work and home) are still working perfectly. Again, I highly recommend this mouse!

I have really not used this since I evidently didn't read the description really well & it is for a desktop. My order did come in very quickly
Digital camera Review: Nice mouse, horrid wireless Summary: 2 Stars
Mouse has a nice feel but is not consistently smooth in operation. Missed button clicks, sluggish mouse movement, and other wireless oddities ruined the experience for me. I returned for a full refund.
Digital camera Review: Nice, but why bother? Summary: 3 Stars
The mouse may be wireless, but you still have to plug in a base, which is fine if you have a pc, but is not mobile enough for a laptop. If you are sitting in a chair and the base for the mouse (base is attached to computer by cord of course) is sitting out of your way on a side table, then mouse won't work. For the base to be close enough for the mouse to work, then the base and its cord are in the way, defeating the purpose of wanting a wireless mouse. I prefer a true wiress mouse, with no cords leaving the side of my computer.
Digital camera Review: Not for "middle mouse click" users Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased two of these, and they perform well except for one quirk. The click wheel in the middle is stiff and unresponsive. If you rely on using the middle mouse button to select items on a webpage, avoid this model. I often have to click several times to get it to work; in the process, the wheel moves and I am no longer on the area I am trying to select. I will be replacing this product with another soon!!!
