Digital camera reviews of Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse BlueDigital camera Review: Could be better. Summary: 3 Stars
I've had this mouse for quite awhile now, and the thing that bothers me most about it, is the fact that I need to replace the batteries about once to twice a month! Depending on how much I'm using it. And also, getting the batteries in and out is a pain..I don't know how microsoft could have missed that specific problem when they were testing it. I guess its pretty much worth its price because most wireless mice are a lot more. So for the most part i'm happy with it because I don't want to spend more than 30 dollars for a mouse.
Digital camera Review: DONT BUY THIS, IT DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT! Summary: 1 Stars
Read the other reviews about the mouse pointer jumping to the bottom corners of the screen. This mouse just FEELS wrongs to use, I threw mine in a drawer and now use my old Microsoft Mouse. This disappointed me, because I have always loved Microsoft Mice, and have an IntelliEye mouse at work that is the best ... Spend more money and buy another mouse, and dont throw out the packaging!
Digital camera Review: DONT EVEN BOTHER Summary: 1 Stars
If they gave me a 0-star option I would have taken it...I couldnt even get the piece of junk to work...emailed Microsoft and never got a response...IF YOU BOUGHT ONE CANCEL IT OR SEND IT BACK...typical Microsoft method to make money by selling junk
Digital camera Review: Do Not Buy If You Play Games! Summary: 2 Stars
This mouse looks pretty cool. But, it lags and skips around sometimes which can be very annoying when precision is needed (ie. playing games) Even on the desktop, the cursor will sometimes skip totally across the screen while you are moving the mouse. It's not really smooth either...if u just look at the cursor, it looks like ur dragging the mouse across sandpaper.
Digital camera Review: Don't be hasty! Summary: 4 Stars
When I first opened this mouse and connected it to my laptop to go, I had so much trouble with erratic tracking that I decided I might be better off with the laptop's touchpad (I hate those touchpads). I boxed the Blue up and was ready to ship it back to Amazon[.com] when I decided to give it a go on my desktop machine (on which I currently use a wonderful MS 5-button wired optical mouse). I had even worse tracking issues than before and at times completely lost functionality. After a quick overview of the troubleshooting in the thin users guide, I decided to "reconnect" the mouse with the receiver. The tracking returned to its original erratic condition that I witnessed on my laptop. So back into the box it went.
Before taking the mouse to the post office the following day, I decided to give it one last go on my laptop. I certainly wanted this to work or I would not have ordered it. The third time, indeed, was the charm. Tracking was smooth and controlled. I could rest the mouse on any surface (even uneven ones) and still it tracked fine. I was elated that I did give it a couple of chances. I am not completely certain why it was not as smooth out of the box, and I am not sure I could repeat the success I had getting this to function adequately. If you took the time to order this mouse, do yourself a favor and take the time to see if it will work for you.
