Digital camera Review: A must have for the Kindle
Summary: 5 Stars

I can't begin to count how many book lights I went through looking for just the right one for my Kindle until I found this little gem. Some were too awkward. Some didn't light the entire screen. Some couldn't be positioned without a glare on the screen (like you get from a lamp from your room on the tv sometimes). I ordered the Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 Clip-On light based on the positive reviews a couple of months ago. I was hoping it would at least be adequate but I was pleasantly surprised that I was completely thrilled with it! What a difference!

I read in bed every night and so I don't wake my boyfriend, I like to use a booklight. This is the perfect light for the Amazon Kindle. I clip it to the back of the case and can bend it so that it lights the page completely without shining in my eyes or causing a glare off the screen. I'm still on the first set of batteries so it lasts a good long time. I especially like that it has 2 light settings. I prefer the setting with the dimmer amount of light - just right!

My only issue - and it is not the lights fault - is the bendy neck is easy to move so when my cat decides that I should not be reading when I could be paying attention to her she rubs her head up against the Kindle and moves the neck of the light. :)

Digital camera Review: A must have!
Summary: 5 Stars

Love this! It is great for traveling and not having to carry multiple books! Plus no more books to build your ever growing collection! Great selection but a little pricey on new books

Digital camera Review: A thoughtful item
Summary: 4 Stars

If you want to be thoughtful to husband or wife, this little light is just the trick. It shines brightly on the Kindle page giving plenty of help in reading without giving any addition glare in the room. It needs some adjusting to avoid too bright reflection, but that's easy to do. I'm happy I got this easy-to-use addition to successful Kindle reading.

Digital camera Review: A useful tool to own
Summary: 4 Stars

I have owned the Kindle 2 for a short while now, so I have come to understand its' limitation with reading in limited available lighting. Prior to traveling again I ordered the Mighty Bright and overall I am very happy with my purchase. I don't know how many hours I have used it so far but I am still running of the first set of alkaline batteries. I have only needed to use the single light setting to provide enough illumination to read the text. I would highly recommend this for anyone in a similar situation, it is small light weight and easy to transport.

Digital camera Review: A very good diaper changing table light
Summary: 5 Stars

This little light works very well as a diaper changing table light, mostly because you can control where the light goes and how much light there is:

+ The 7" long neck is very twist-able and bend-able, allowing you to point the light where you want it to go.

+ The light has an effective lens that focuses most of the light in a defined area - there's not as much light leaking to the sides as on many other lights. So by turning the head, you can keep the light from going where you don't want it to (such as, in the baby's face).

+ And of course there are two brightness levels for the light.

The clamp isn't super-forceful - it is designed to clamp onto books or a Kindle, after all - so it works best on something that's 3/4" or less thick, but with 3/4" or more of depth to grab on to.

Or, if you have a place to set it, it will (as shown in the picture) sit flat on its bottom, and it's fairly stable.

The only thing I don't care for is the cover on the battery compartment - it keeps coming off when I use the clamp.

The LED light draws little power, so the batteries last a long time.

Most of the weight is in the battery compartment, so that helps keep it stable even when clamped to things that aren't all that stable - like the edge of a changing table pad.

Plus it's a handy light to have around when you need a light - well worth the price.

If you expect to have it in one spot nearly all of the time, consider getting Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 Book Light with Adaptor - Black, if you don't want to bother with batteries.

Rechargeable batteries work just fine in this, and of course are the best way to go.
