I've had so many book lights over the years. And every single one has disappointed me. Except for this one. I love it!
Update:
It is a pain that you have to take out the batteries when traveling with the light. Also, forget rechargeable batteries unless you take them out every single night. In fact, the instructions DO advise that you remove the batteries when not in use! Still this definitely is the brightest book light, I've ever had. Can't wait for them to make adjustments to it.

I have been wary of booklights because I never had one that worked properly, but this is FINALLY one that is bright enough and sturdy enough and positionable enough to make it really possible to read in bed after my husband wants "lights out."
This clips on to the front cover of my Kindle, which I then fold back behind the Kindle in the holder and then I can adjust the light just as I need it.
The light is clear and bright and even, without that annoying "flashlight center" so many of the bulb reading lights had. It covers the entire page, even on a regular sized hardcover.
BUY. THIS. You won't regret it.

I've been using this reading light now for over a month (nightly) and still on original batteries. It must be that the LED lights take less energy, because prior reading lights I used I would have to replace the batteries almost weekly. A nice feature is being able to illuminate dual lamps or single lamp, and personally for me the single lamp is more than sufficient light for reading. It clips nicely to the back of the Kindle leather cover. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase!
