Digital camera Review: Love it but...

I love Monster products but after 1 week of having this power strip the switched outlets (labeled DVD and Television) don't let enough power through to power my tv anymore. It worked fine then one day I came home from work and my tv had no power. I switched to one of the nonswitched outlets and I have power all day long with no issues. I have contacted Monster with no response yet. Other than that it is a Great product. If they warranty the item I will love Monster more.

Harmful power surges and voltage spikes can travel up the AC power line and damage connected equipment. Lightning, automatic garage doors, power tools, refrigerators and fluorescent lights all cause power surges and voltage spikes that affect phone lines and coax cables. Monster's Multirole SurgeGuard detects harmful power surges and voltage spikes before they reach components. This PowerCenter HITS 2000 features special surge protection for phone lines and coax cables used for DSS, DIVX /DVD and cable TV connections. Other surge protectors can result in as much as 20 to 30 dB of signal loss, which ultimately affects the output performance of coax connections. Monster's ultra-low loss RF circuitry provides virtually no signal loss to maintain peak performance.
