Seriously, monster cable may be ok for analog signals but when it comes to HDMI this cable is 100% sham. HDMI is all or nothing in that there is 0 signal loss no matter WHAT cable you use. Monster's blatant overpricing on this cable pisses me off to no end. There is no quality difference in this and a 1.00 cable. I have lost all respect for the company. HDMI transmits digitally. That means 1 or 0. There can't be interference. Shielding means nothing. It either transmits or it doesn't. Never pay more than 10 dollars for a cable. User the internet for more help. Monster is a terrible company. The people who sell these cables in stores are terrible people. If I paid $15.00 for this, I'd rate this 5 stars, but for over $100.00 NO WAY! A digital signal will not care whether made with high quality or not, because it's caring only 0s and 1s. When I first saw these advertised, I was stunned that a respected cable company such as Monster would have the balls to make a claim that their HDMI cables are "faster" than conventional cables. This is like saying that there are high-speed speakers that make the sound travel faster. I wouldn't be surprised if Monster is working on those. The only advantage I can think of would be their high-performance gold-plated connectors. That is, if you had a flood, at least your Monster cables wouldn't rust!
Take your $100 and spend it on a better TV, a better Blu-ray player, or 2 more games for your PS3 or 360. Or donate it to charity. Better than to support these crooks.
