Digital camera Review: Amazing cables

There are mixed reviews for this product - mainly due to its price. I understand that these cables are not meant for everyone. However, if you are like me, who has spent alomst 5-8K on various equipments then the cost of these cables is not a big issue. Once you get pass the cost issue, these cables are just outright amazing. I had generic cables before this, but as soon as i connected using this cables, i did see better output. The noise levels have gone down significantly and Blu ray output is just incredible. I strongly endorse this cables for high end consumers.

Even though Monster DOES manufacture their cables to a higher standard of quality, this cable is almost a downgrade from what I was using before.
While it does provide a more secure fit in the HDMI ports and a significant boost in audio quality, I have been seeing CONSTANT pixel dropouts (even in 720p) as well as screen flickers and other weird artifacts showing up occasionally. My previous HDMI cable did not do this. And I was using it in the exact same setup. If it weren't for the visual artifacts, the picture would be great. It's possible that I purchased a defective cable, but luckily I purchased it for way less than retail pricing.
However, I am still disappointed.

$130 retail for this? For that price it better deliver the picture and pop me the popcorn!
I recently bought three 2M HDMI cables from amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002L5R78) and they work just as well as this piece of trash from Monster. The cables were less than $5 including shipping!
Even if my $5 cable goes bad or drops the signal I could buy another 26 cables and STILL be cheaper than this seriously overpriced piece of trash.

Spending multiple hundreds of dollars on an HDMI cable to carry a digital signal from your video player to your TV and expecting to see a better picture quality than what you can get from a $6 cable is like spending thousands of dollars on a solid gold USB flash drive inset with diamonds to walk your .JPG files over to Walgreens and expecting this to help you obtain more vivid and lifelike 3x5 prints.
The digital content in an HDMI cable does not change between the video player and the TV any more than the .JPG file changes from the time you copy it from your computer onto the flash drive to the time you copy it over to the print kiosk at Walgreens. Anyone telling you otherwise is trying to bilk you out of your hard-earned money, or is trying to convince themselves that they weren't imbeciles for wasting theirs.
