I've got a bunch of RCA dual and component cables laying around; but, hate to have the unused jacks hanging off the back of both receiver and subwoofer. Aesthetics aside, I suppose that the other jacks could introduce some line interference and noise. Bottom line, this cable is designed specifically for the purpose, with solid cable gauge, perfectly fitting RCA jacks and proper consideration given to the placement of a subwoofer (nice long cable run). Given the long run, this single cable is also easier to run / hide along the wall than a typical RCA dual or component.Digital camera Review: Good Product

I'm no cable expert and I didn't want to spent a lot of money. This cable fit the bill in terms of cost, quality and length. The jack grabs the plug on my subwoofer well giving it a good tight fit. It is a cable, your only decision is whether it is worth in or not to pay the extra $$ for this THX monster cable. To be honest with you, I can't tell much of a difference between this cable, which is pretty cheap for the name, and a cheap cable for $5-10 less (in sound quality). That said, I had a cheaper no-name cable (from a local store) before, and it fizzled out and died in about 6 months. That led me to buy better constructed cables in the future, and this one will not die as quickly as mine did no matter how much you abuse it. It is just constructed well. If you have the budget, I would say its worth it to spend a couple more $$ to get a cable that will last.Digital camera Review: Good quality for the price

I just need a longer cable and got this. I barley notice the sound quality diffrence but I notice its really good quality made.
