Digital camera Review: A good FM transmitter for iPods

This is a good product which when used with our iPod (2nd generation iPod nano) in Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee has done its job well. The built in frequency scanner is easy to operate and works well in finding a clear frequency to use. Used in conjunction with our Honda radios the sound quality is good and free from static. The display of the iPod nano is used as the display for the transmitter, which is neat. When using this unit you do have to turn the car radio up louder than when listening to the radio so if/when a radio station cuts in/overrides the transmitter the volume of the station is quite a bit louder than whatever you were listening to on the iPod. This can be anoying but this is the only drawback we have experienced with this transmitter. As with all FM transmitters the more built up the area the more you are likely to have to re-scan but so far this unit has always found a frequency it can use. Note, it will not work with the iPod Touch (if it worked with the iPod touch it would deserve 4 1/2 stars).Digital camera Review: A very good wireless transmitter

This is the best way to play your ipod in the car. It is so great! It comes in crystal clear, better than a CD! It is so easy to use, I tune it into 88.9 in VT and there is NO static whatsoever. Simply the best, I have tried quite a few others and this one is amazing! You have to get it. This is the best price around as well. I have tried the old monster cable and wasn't very happy with it as there was a lot of static with it. This auto scan cable allows you to do a search to find the clearest channel. The AutoScan feature seemed like a good idea but I have tried it repeatedly following exactly the instructions on the product, but after selecting "Auto" nothing at all happens. Yes, it says to wait, but you can wait and wait and wait and nothing at all happens. It works in manual station mode but you don't need to pay this much for that technology. This one is going back where it came from. Oh and BTW it's not wireless (the FM transmission is wireless but the transmitter is on a wire so it's not wireless).
