Digital camera reviews of Monster iCarPlay Wireless FM Transmitter with Auto-Scan for iPod

Digital camera Review: Efficient and simple
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had 3 other types of FM transmitters for my iPod and this one is the best. The device searches for a clear channel for you, and the channel is displayed in the iPod screen. No muss no fuss. No trying to read tiny red LED numbers, no searching through the channels manually, simple and efficient. You can do it all manually if you prefer then set the device to the channel you like. We just took it on a 3000 mile road trip and it was awesome and kept the music rolling along with us. I love it.

Digital camera Review: Excellent Product!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an excellent product - works exactly as advertised. I highly recommend it, especially if you live in a city with lots of frequencies in use.

Digital camera Review: Excellent transmitter
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this for my Ipod after a friend told me she tried SEVERAL transmitters and they all had issues(the sound was terrible and you could not listen to it loudly). This one is GREAT- the sound is terrific and there is no static, I even think it was cheaper than the ones at the stores. I would definately recommend this transmitter. I love buying stuff on Amazon.com they are great!

Digital camera Review: Finally a FM Transmitter that works
Summary: 4 Stars

I like the fact the frequency can be changed using the ipod display.
Yes there can be static during playback, but that is due to using an already occupied frequencies.
I found I got the best results when I changed the region to Japan and used used 88.1.
I would definitely recommend it, I have used 2 other transmitters and this looks like the final one.
Hope that helps.

Digital camera Review: Finally, the scan feature I've been waiting for... wait, it doesn't really work...
Summary: 2 Stars

Good signal output as far as these things go. The scan feature would be phenomenal if it didn't take 120 seconds to scan and then pick a less than optimal channel. Scanning on your own while driving is dangerous, but this thing didn't solve that problem for me. It's almost there, keep trying Monster.

Even though I only gave it 2 stars, it's still perhaps the best transmitter on the market as of Aug. 2007
