Digital camera Review: Mustang Rescue Stick- MADE IN CHINA

I was very disappointed when I received my Mustang Rescue Stick, as it is MADE IN CHINA. There is ample concern about quality control of products manufactured in CHINA. I would have never bought this if I had known it, as it is A SAFETY ITEM. Mustang website states that the product is manufactured in North America (Canada). The packaging included the wrong customer contact number, the wrong (again, printed in China) instructions for use. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with MUSTANG customer service. Their customer service gave me the WRONG instructions for deploying the stick.
This was a large disappointment, I went with MUSTANG based on their commercial products line, used by Coast Guard and other professional rescuers. Evidently, their "consumer" line and business is not held up to the same standards. I WOULD NOT recommend this experience again.

Measuring on 14" in length and weighing 15.5oz., the Rescue Stick is the most versatile rescue device available. Easily stowed in a boat, vehicle, backpack or by the pool it will be accessible when and where you need it. The Rescue Stick is an invaluable tool for police officers arriving first on scene to provide emergency flotation when no water rescue gear is available. During a swift water rescue, fire departments can throw the Rescue Stick to the victim to keep them afloat while a rescue plan is put into action.
