As the title suggests, it's as simple as plugging in the cables & off you go. I have mine mounted on a wall in my basement, so heat, as others have stated, isn't an issue. This device is the interface between my PS3 & PC, & I've noticed a huge performance difference between this & my Linksys WRT54G I was using before.Digital camera Review: Plug and Play, need I say more?

I needed to connect a couple of PCs in my home office into one wall outlet, this sure did the trick. Simple, easy to connect, just power it up, connect the cables and you are off and running. It works so well I'm buying another one for connecting my media systems together (Blu-Ray player, Plasma TV and Gaming console).
