Digital camera Review: A Great All Around Solution...

I purchased this unit to support 2 PCs, serve up music & video, and one network my printer. It delivers on all counts.
Hardware setup was very easy, it was recognized immediately. The Front-View software is intuitive and logical. But keep in mind that you should do some research and reading before flipping the onfiguration buttons. For a simple install, the defaults work just fine. It did take a couple of days of trail-and-error to set up the shares and users to access over the internet. No big deal, as I took a casual scale-up approach to configuration.
The Shadow software is excellent. It quietly replicates all your file updates on the backup directory behind the scenes removing the burdon of running backups. I also like the power up/down scheduler. The unit is also capable of hosting a web server should you have the need.
I pourchased the 2100 model that comes with a Seagate 1TB drive with a $[...] rebate. A second 1TB WD Caviar is on order. The drives are hot-swapable.
It's a solid choice for light-medium duty network storage.
