Digital camera reviews of NETGEAR WG511NA Wireless G Pc CardDigital camera Review: EXCELLENT PRODUCT.. Summary: 5 Stars
It's a small card. Yet, its range is wider than any other wireless device I know of (D-Link, Linksys). Some things to crave about: - Exceptionally fast throughputs. I used to own a Linksys, which was cheap then, but Netgear's speed is mindblowing. - Set up is a cinch, and instructions are simple, in layman language. You'll be up and running in 20 mins. - Supports both IEEE 802.11*b* as well as IEEE 802.11*g* (this is a good thing because you have to worry lesser about whether your wireless LAN card is "supported") Make sure you have the latest firmware, and if you have problems like other reviewers had -- booting machines etc, then update your BIOS from your computer vendor. The card itself is compact and competent. Recommended!
Digital camera Review: Easy and Very fast setup Summary: 5 Stars
Easy to setup and use. User friendly IF you read the directions...they're normally there for a reason. Wireless connection is faster than imagined and this addition was one of the easiest ones I've made to my laptop...100% satisfied.
Digital camera Review: Easy install, great spead! Summary: 5 Stars
Works great in "Hot Spots" - always get a least 80% signal strength with 11Mbps conection, and in my home office with NETGEAR WG614 router/access point - within 50 metres 90-95% signal strength through 3 walls with 54Mbps connection! It's hot-swappable, good-looking and secure (128-bit encription) + WEP!
Digital camera Review: Easy install, painless configuration. Perfect!! Summary: 5 Stars
This is easily the best wireless-G PC Card you can buy. Between the awesome price, and its great performance, you just can' beat it. I popped the CD in, ran an install program, and rebooted my laptop. (This took no more than 5 minutes). Then, I just popped in the PC Card, told it the name of my network - and bada bing, I was up and running. Absolutely a good buy!
Digital camera Review: Easy install- works great Summary: 4 Stars
This is the second or third of these units I have bought over the last ten or so years. They go in easy, connect easy and are plenty fast.
I'd give them four starts, except I have to replace them every two or three years.
