If you want an advise. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
Fortunately, I never plugged in this adapter in my laptop. I only connected this piece of junk on the outlet wall and it started to generate lots of sparks.
Check this out the other comments to know I'm not the only one complaining about this product.

I purchased an adapter from OPTIMUM SOLUTION
The plug was too loose, but the adapter worked okay for 12 months.
It died 3 days after that. The answer was "sorry your warranty expired."
It's fine if you only need it for 1 year.
Otherwise my advice is: "DO NOT BUY!"

I bought two of these b/c I am on my laptop all the time and the one that came with frayed and stopped working...
first one worked for about a month before it just stopped working, used the second one for only a week or so and it started to do the same...
both gave a little spark every time i plugged them in.. and the second one.. I was feeding my 5 month ago when all of a sudden it started shooting out huge sparks like a firework at the charger base... almost started a fire...
The charger was always on the group a hard bare surface with nothing around it so i have nothing covering it,that would cause it to over heat...
so as I already ordered much much better versions and capacity i now have to go to the store and spend $50-100 on one just so i can use my lap top

It worked for a day. Then the little green light on the boxed part would not turn on, which meant it was dead or would not give off enough electricity to charge a computer. So, it just stopped working.
