Digital camera Review: Did not work at all

Plugged the power into the outlet and the green light just came on momentarily and went off.
I would try another one but Amazon will only give a refund.
Also it looked like a normal power brick and not like the original dell that is pictured. Doesn't matter to me, because the brick is smaller than the original, if only it was working.

I bought this for my inspiron 1420 since my original just suddenly quit working exactly one day after the warranty expired (not even kidding). It has been working for about a week now, but after it's been plugged in for over 30 minutes it gets extremely hot. I'm afraid it's going to burn something out; that's how hot it is. I'd go with another product if I was to buy another charger... which I may have to do soon.
DO NOT BUY THIS. After just a month of use, it is completely dead. Very disappointed.

The charger seemed to worok fine for a short while but was totally stopped working for no apparent reason after only 2 months... my other one from Dell lasted 3 years. We will see if the company exchanges it for a new one. I will update review based upon that.Digital camera Review: Does NOT Charge!

I have an Inspiron 1501 laptop, and let me just say again clearly: this adapter does NOT charge my battery.
I purchased it as a hopeful alternative to Dell's much pricier replacement adapter when my original one suffered an unfortunate death by puppy teeth. I was delighted to see it actually worked despite the negative reviews, but then I realized my battery was still at 0% an hour later. I plan to keep it - I'll be getting a new laptop soon so it won't be that much trouble to keep it plugged in - but this is definitely something I would not purchase again, or recommend to anyone else.

It works well wilh 120 Volt input. But If are traveling aboard and going to use it with 240 Volt, do not buy this product. It does not work and you can get minor electric shock.
