Digital camera Review: Best cooler on the market

People will always tell you: "Don't buy expensive coolers when you can buy some $20 one that does the same thing." That is completely false. Well, if you have some little netbook then get something else. If you have at least a 15" laptop that gets hot, even if its not a gaming laptop like mine, get this one. My 15" HP G61 laptop gets up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit (not kidding) on my desk without this cooler. Nothing running on the laptop at all, maybe my web browser. Now with this cooler, it stays around 120-125 degrees Fahrenheit (49-51 degrees Celsius). So this cooler definitely does the job. A little pricey, but I don't regret spending $69 (no tax or shipping... for me) at all. I rather spend $69 to save a $500+ laptop or even $1000+ laptop than to spend that much again to buy a new laptop due to overheating of my old one.
Only thing that worries me is that my temps I posted above was when I was using the highest setting on the fans. I'm not worried about the noise, its super silent. I just don't want to wear out the fans. But then again, I can get a new 120mm replacement fan for only $10 here on Amazon.
I give this a perfect rating. All I could ask more for is for the USB hub on the back to be a little more sturdy. It wiggles back and forth when you plug something in, otherwise its not a big deal. It powers my optical mouse, HD PVR and my external HDD. (I recommend plugging into a wall though, better results. Less stress on the laptop)
In conclusion, this is the best laptop cooler on the market. I recommend it to ANYONE who owns any type of notebook/laptop. I would choose it over ANY other cooler too including popular names like: Coolermaster, Antec, Zaleman, etc.
P.S.
I ordered the $45-50 Zalman cooler and quickly returned to buy this one. DO NOT buy a plastic one if you wish to own the best cooler possible. Get all aluminum, like this one. Why? It dissipates heat better. AKA. Makes your laptop colder/cooler.

i have been searching for a notebook cooler for 2 years plus. i took into consideration a lot of brands such as cooler master, zalman, thermaltake. after a lot of research i decided to give nzxt a try seeing one of my friend has one. it is a bit heavy but i don't take it anywhere but leaving it just on the table so it is not a big problem for me. the fan are great and the material is really well built. keeps my notebook cold because i am using the gaming notebook the ASUS G51J. and believe me that notebook is really hot. but after using the cooler i dont feel as much heat as before. is a must buy notebook cooler =DDigital camera Review: Better than expected, less than hoped for

Pro's : Fits a 17 inch laptop with room to spare. Speed adjustable fans. Folds for storage/transport.
Con's: Fans could be a little more powerful. There are some sharp edges that could be rounded off. USB ports, only a net gain of 2 for 2 used.
Over all: I'm quite happy with the over all results. While my new Sager had some small problems recognizing the rear 4 USB ports, it's now working fine. I have recommended this to several other people so far and will continue to recommend this product.

If it actually worked like it's supposed to I can see how this would be a great product. It is big and bulky, but very quiet...UNTIL....I moved it a little bit to scoot it further on the table and it started clicking incessantly. I played around with it in different positions to try and get it to stop. When it wouldn't, I flipped it over and found that the metal was warped and bowed (dented inwards) and the fan was hitting the metal, causing the clicking. It definitly seemed like a manufacturing problem, not damaged in shipping. I retured for a refund and have re-ordered a new one. Hopefully it was a one time problem.Digital camera Review: Cool Cooler

I have a Toshiba A305 Satellite, which runs fairly hot and I am disabled so I tend to use it frequently in bed. This cooler is so effective that the bottom of my laptop is actually cool to the touch after running for extended periods of time. The angled surface makes typing easier. Even at the highest fan speed the noise is barely noticeable and the 4 rear usb ports are convenient at times. If heat is a concern you can't do better than this.
