Digital camera Review: Finally a Cooler that works

I have a new envy 14 i7 and before buying the cryo cooler it reached 92 degrees Celsius easily when playing games. I looked at countless reviews before deciding and I cme down to two choices - CRYO LX OR Zalman ZM-NC2000. both are excellent depending on where your laptop gets hot. the cryo lx cools the back of your laptop and the Zalman ZM-NC2000 cools the front. Because my envy 14 generates heat in upper right part of the pc the cryo lx was the best choice. even though there is a smaller cryo sm the lx was a much better choice for my 14.5in and its not to big at all, the extra power was important(another fan). It took me 3 tries of buying various fans before I found this one and I'm extremly happy with my decision to purchase it. It is really strong, and my laptop finally is cool to the touch. My only recommendation to the manufacturer is to please ADD an "OFF" switch so I don't have to unplug it from the wall so often. OH, I lied -- there is one more thing. Please make the cord LONGER. I had to plug it into an extension cord. They must have thought a person would have an electrical outlet on the wall directly behind the machine. I purchased this product because of the reviews. If you plan to use your lap top on table and can tolerate some noise, then it is good. However, if you plan to use lap top on a table, on your lap, on the go, then I would encourage you to look for something else. It is heavy, the edges are sharp and I stab myself a couple of times in grabbing it. The is a piece that folds and this where you notice the sharp edges. It was just awkward to use other than on a table/flat service. I returned it within 3 days.Digital camera Review: Generally satisfied

I am very pleased with the build quality of this product and its cooling capcity, but all 4 USB ports malfunctioned. I believe that this is due to their making loose connections with my USB plugs. I had hoped the built in hub would save me the cost of a larger outboard hub but because of this problem I had to buy one after all.Digital camera Review: Good and Expensive

I guess you get what you pay for. The first cooler sent to me had the fan blade rubbing. Amazon had a replacement to my house the next day after I reported it. The replacement works and looks great.
