I travel every week for work. Not some, not most, every week. I am also self employed, so not only must I file a detailed expense report for my client reimbursement, I must have very accurate records for my taxes. Neat Receipts does this all, and makes it a complete no-brainer. I don't know what others are saying about the OCR not working, however it is about 95% accurate for me, and considering the condition of some of my crumbled receipts that is simply amazing. Sometimes even I can't read them, but the OCR still figures out what they are for.
The export and reporting for submission is nothing short of a miracle and I don't even have any suggestions for them to make it any easier. It simply works.
My only complaint I have, and the reason it misses a 5 star rating is that the program is HUGE and takes considerable time to start up. I'd like to see it streamlined a bit - or maybe make some of the functions of this considerably complex software more modular as there is a lot there I don't, and will never, use. Plus the database engine sometimes gets out of sync if you have crash. Their INCREDIBLE, and I don't use that word lightly, INCREDIBLE technical support showed me the not so obvious method of fixing that and I have never since had an issue with the software.
Now if they would only get their Mac version to work this well - so I can't stop running this in VM Fusion (which works perfectly btw).

Opened it, installed it and started scanning. Works better than advertised. scanned in business card, recognized information and stored it in the appropriate lines i nthe contacts. Receipt filled in the correct dollar amount. Love it. Will also use to scan to pdf documents for emailing when no scanner available.Digital camera Review: Export to Quicken

I bought this product for the express purpose of exporting my receipts into Quicken. Imagine my surprise when I learned that you can't do that. This program uses the old Quicken .qif format. Quicken has been using the .qdf format since at least the 2003 version. I have a choice. Either return the scanner, which is very over priced or use the device to scan receipts only. They should not be advertising a product to do something when it uses a format that hasn't been used by Quicken for over five years.
