After a convoluted set-up, this unit continued to be hassle with constantly dropped signals. Eventually the WGR614 became a waypoint between the modem and my laptop which was connected with a 20' cable back to the router. Lucky I had the cable or else I would have continued to lose work! For multiple laptops and a powerful signal spend $20 more and buy a Linksys. Sorry Netgear.Digital camera Review: BAD NEWS---WATCH OUT!

My WGR614 continues to disconnect and reset on a quarter-hour or so interval, killing downloads, dropping my work VPN, etc. There's a long chain of complaints on the internet about this issue, yet there's been no fix from Netgear in a year! They first said it would go away with XP SP2, but it has not. I'm going to Linksys...sorry!Digital camera Review: BEST ROUTER BRAND ON THIS EARTH TODAY!!!

the price value is super good for the price. i have setup 3 netgear routers with no problem (2 of the wireless g's wrg614 and 1 of the super g's WGT624). netgear is the one of the easiest routers to ever setup with the easy setup cd. i setup mine up in a matter of 10-15 mins.. i have had a dlink and zyxel routers in the past. the zyxel never worked, it wouldnt configure for some reason, i brought it back and exchanged for another one still didnt work. then the dlink one wouldnt configure on my pc, got pissed of so i returned it cauze it dint work. then here comes netgear, i set one up for my friend, worked fine, then set one up for my other friend, it worked perfect. then i said hey, y not try it for myself. and it works great! i totally recommend it to everybody, easy setup, everything is easy. greatest price compared to dlink and other router brands. affordable. hope this helps.Digital camera Review: BUY THIS ONE!

Great! I got the package within 2 weeks and it worked about 23%. Two ports on the router don't work and the port 3 and 4 slow down my connection. Oh yeah its not even wireless, my 2 (top of the line) Macs lose the connection every other 30 seconds. I'll think twice before I ever buy here again.
