Everything else everyone has written is true. This extender is easy to set-up and easy to use.
I bought this extender so that the only thing I see is my wall mounted LCD. I have my equipment on the other side of a lath and plaster wall and have had no problems.

Digital camera Review: 418mhz version works with ATT Uverse

I have the regular one and used it for over a year. When we changed over to uverse the original one (this one) wouldnt work with the remote. I searched around and there was some info that the 418 would work with ATT but the information was not definitive. I bought the 418 version from Amazon and just tested it and it definitely works with att u-verse.

I was a bit skeptical that this item would actually work. Could not believe that the battery would actually be able to do what it said. I am using it for a Scientific Atlanta DVR and an AT8400 cable box universal remote. I took the item out of the box plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Works from anywhere inside my home, upstairs and down! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a way to extend the range of thier remote or hide their electronics out of site.Digital camera Review: A Disappointment

This item wouldn't work for me. I tried several times to contact the retailer and never received any help. Fortunately Amazon came to the rescue with their A to Z guarantee and credited me for the entire amount of the purchase. Maybe it will work for you, but if it doesn't....
