These do what they are supposed to - let you shoot longer. I use both batteries with a vertical grip adapter and I can easily shoot 2000+ images without having to recharge. The recharge time is comparable to the Nikon battery that came with the camera. They hold their charge very well between shoots.Digital camera Review: Great deal

I can't comment on the longevity of the batteries in the long-term, but in the short they work perfectly and as well as the OEM Nikon. I see no reason to pay 4-5 times as much for the Nikon version.Digital camera Review: Great product!

I love to travel and take lots of pictures...hundreds a day. I can be forgetful and don't always charge my battery. Even with the great stamina of the OEM battery for the Nikon D5000, I didn't want to get left stranded. I was only looking for 1 battery but the deal for 2 extended use batteries was too good to pass up.
Even though I read the good reviews I was still a little skeptical. I decided to test them at a wedding. I took over 500 pictures on max file size in JPEG/RAW and the battery indicator only dropped 1 bar even though I used the flash for most of the shots. (Hope to get a fill-in flash soon.)
I have used and abused these batteries and they haven't let me down. I have not experienced any battery memory loss. With these 2 batteries and my OEM I can take over 2500 pictures before I have to charge again. Saved a lot of money buying these instead of a battery grip.
If anything every happens to them I will buy again.

I was concerned that for the price these wouldn't work but they do! Original charge was quick and they are fully compatible with the D60. I don't know how long they keep their charge in the camera yet.
Twice the batteries for half the price of an original!
