The battery I ordered was Nikon EN-EL9 but I received EN-EL9A which will not work in my camera or charger. So buyer beware. I've read a few reviews and it looks like the EN-EL9A is used in the Nikon D500 and the EN-EL9 is used in the Nikon D40.Digital camera Review: It works!

Purchased these for my battery grip, and they work perfect. and charged fairly quick, they are a little smaller, as my nikon batteries fit in my grip batt cartridge nice and tight and these fit, but not as snug, but otherwise great batteries and great price.Digital camera Review: JUNK! I've had these batteries less than 6 months. Both are now DOA, meaning they will not take a charge of any sort. Yes, they're "compatible". Yes they're cheaper. Now I know WHY!
Spend your money on a real Nikon battery and save yourself the heartache of popping a "freshly charged" battery in your camera in an important moment and finding that both it, and it's cheap twin, are forever dead, never to take a charge again.
Think you'll get satisfaction from the company? Think again.
All they will offer you is two more crap-tastic batteries.
Forget it. Time to do what I should've done in the first place: Buy genuine Nikon.

I purchased these batteries over a year ago and used them daily in my Nikon D-60. I used them in a Targus battery grip. I have both these batteries and the Nikon. No problems with either. These batteries last about 100 photos more than the Nikon battery. In the Targus battery grip, I get over 1800 photos between charge. Don't use flash much but when I did, still lasted over 1000 shots.Digital camera Review: Long life batteries.
