Digital camera Review: Completely inaccurate, stopped working after two runs and the Nike + site is useless.

Apple really couldn't have messed this one up any more than they did (from a user standpoint -- from a business standpoint, a running sensor that gets used up like tissues is genius). It doesn't work. For the brief window that it does work, it works poorly. The main reason I purchased it was for the running community (Nike +), but the site is so poorly designed that even the site recommends you use facebook for the social aspect of the product.
Also, why couldn't they just put an "On/Off" switch on the product instead of making you guess whether or not it's in sleep mode?

I was hyped about this product. I thought it was a great way to make my running more intuitive. This thing only let me down. It just flat out doesn't work. I only got it to pair up with my ipod touch 2g one time, and it wasn't even accurate. After that, my itouch was never able to find the sensor while I was walking/running. I think the most frustrating thing about this product is there is no way to charge it, and it has no LEDs. Meaning.... I could have bought one that was produced 5 years ago, and the battery had already gone to waste, and there is no way of even knowing that for sure.
I didn't even want to put forth the effort to return this little piece of junk. I don't want a replacement. Its just not a good product. Save yourself some stress, don't get one.
Digital camera Review: Don't leave it in your Bean Pod on your shoe!

I too learned the HARD way that you cannot replace the battery and if you leave it attached to your shoe it continues to send signals. Had I understood this, maybe I could have spared myself the short one month life I got out of this thing!
LOVE the concept...but replacing it is outrageously expensive...too expensive for a grandmother like me
