Digital camera Review: Renewing your Nike+ experience now is cheaper

This product includes just the shoe's sensor to get training information for Nike+.
I believe that's very useful, because before this you had to buy the sensor plus the iPod receiver, which is a waste of money if you just wanted to replace a worn out or lost sensor.
One thing that many people forgets, is that every sensor has a sleep button, you can set it to sleep when you know you're not going to use the sensor, so you can save battery life and making its life last longer, so in the long term you save money.

The Nike+ was the entire reason I bought by Nano over 2 years ago. The entire sport kit works great, so good that my wife bought an Ipod and sport kit 6 months later. So far I have over 800 miles on my original sensor and I am buying one to have on hand just in case it dies. My wife's sensor died after just over a year and 300+ miles.
I love the challenges on the NikePlus website. Since I primarily run alone, they help keep me motivated.
Flaws:
There is no speed work settings. It would seem like it would be easy to allow users to program in an interval program of some sort. Also there is a known flaw that after 500 kilometers, the voice of Paula keeps congratulating users on finsihing 500k.
I still give this 5 stars because the advantages greatly outweigh these drawbacks.

I'm on my 2nd sensor in 2 weeks, and it's dead now too. I'm in the middle of marathon training and I just don't want to waste another minute on this product.
If your a casual runner and don't mind shelling out $[...], then you might like this product. You can custom calibrate, which makes it really acurate for longer distances. I also enjoyed using the Nike+ site. They have lots of challenges for a nice motivation factor. I really enjoyed the week that this thing worked. Hopefully you'll get to use yours longer.

I am done with Nike...bought two sensors - one for me and one for my daughter. Mine stopped working after ONE - oh yeah - ONE run. The nike forum stinks and this is pitiful. I will not ever buy Nike shoes or equipment based on the reviews here (1/2 love it and 1/2 hate it???). They are producing cheap equipment.
