You pay for what you get.
These binoculars are not very sturdy. The internal prisms are easily knocked out of place and the already fuzzy image then looks out of wack. All this has to do with the poor materials that went into the flimsy porro design.
I advise birders in particular to avoid these binoculars. Not only are they not waterproof, but they happen to be junkie all around and you can't see anything within fifteen feet of you, so forget close looks at hummingbirds or seeing any detail on that warbler that landed about ten feet away in the brambles. Save your money and get a better pair of durable roof prisms that are fully multi-coated and phase corrected.
If it wasn't for these binoculars being so big and cumbersome, I'd have expected to find them at the bottom of cereal box or a Happy Meal.
