Digital camera Review: A decent camera for a budget

I got this camera as a gift and chose it myself. I was looking at purchasing a Kodak Z1015 iS, but could not find a place where I could actually get my hands on it. This camera was purchased to replace a FANTASTIC, but old and slowly dying Kodak DX 7630.
While the camera takes very sharply focused pictures when they are in focus, I am having trouble finding the sweet spot. The colors (especially reds and oranges) are overly saturated and I usually have to edit them by hand. The flash is WAY TOO BRIGHT and I am considering taping some tissue over it to tone it down since I have not found a way to change the brightness in the menu. The buttons are very sensitive and I am constantly hitting them on accident whilst holding the camera.
Any average tech savvy person can operate this camera right out of the box. It is very easy to use. I have played with most of the Auto and Manual settings and am pleased for the most part.
I still would have liked to get that Kodak in my hands....still trying to decide if I am going to return this L100.
