I was very disappointed in this product - my first digital camera was a Nikon Coolpix 2MP - great camera at the time - then I moved on to Canon after that. ALWAYS loved the Canon's picture quality and should have known better than to move away. I guess I got sucked into Ashton Kutchers ad's. Needless to say I was disappointed in the picture quality - a LOT of picture "noise" and JPEG artifects. Took it back and got a 9MP Canon Powershot and the image quality is night and day - a nit more expensive - but a GREAT camera!Digital camera Review: Cheap and broke within 30 days

I bought this camera for my daughter who is 13. We were at a family function and she was using it when the lens decided it wouldn't retract and the camera stopped working. I was sitting there with her so I know it wasn't dropped or hit. We tried everything and the lens never worked again. Easy to operate. Gives great snapshots. Not as good as my Nikon SLR but great for keeping in a pocket for the occasional shot you'd otherwise not get. Only negative is no viewfinder, which is useful on bright days when it's difficult to see the LCD screen.Digital camera Review: Cool Nikon

I haven't had a chance to use this camera very much as yet, but it appears to be well constructed and is great looking. One drawback I have found is the lack of a viewfinder when trying to take a picture. When shooting out doors it can be very hard to see the screen. Be aware of this when buying this product.
